I just noticed that the front of the wheelwells on the front tire are
not fully inside the frame of the car? Also I can pull on the front
part of the car and stick them in.
Is that normal?
Also one of them is cracked. Is that a big deal?

Hi folks
Has anyone chaged form the stocks to 15" rims and tires? If so, what’s
the actual tire size to compensate for the change? I’m finding that
selection is better and cheaper for 15" tires and I plan to get a
winter set on steelies in the near future.
Cheers

I just made my 4th fill-up since buying my Sonata GL 4 cylinder/5 speed.
Here is the data:
tank 1 27.04
tank 2 29.39
tank 3 27.01
tank 4 26.90

Average 27.46
Not terrible, but not what I hoped for. The EPA rating is 24/34 and I
drive 70-80% highway. Hopefully, more miles and warmer weather this
summer will bump this up a little. My 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager with
the 3.3L V-6 and automatic transmission (and 178,000 miles!) was getting
22 MPG before its demise. Only getting 5 MPG more than the much larger
van is a touch disappointing.
What are others experiencing with their Sonatas?

My Sante Fe has been the best car I have ever owned. I have 138K miles
and the only issues I have had have been minor.
My current heater/AC problem is intermittent but often the fan does not
blow any air. I can change fan speeds, hear the fan speed faster or
slower but no air flows. Could it be related to the defrost setting?
It will work for 5-30 minutes, then stop working, then start working
again. Same with the A/C.
My other issue (unrelated to the heater/AC) is I hear a "whoop" sound
intermittently but I can not repeat it intentionally. I can not tell
where it is coming from since it is always just a very short sound.
I managed to crack the mirror glass on the drivers side of my new car.
Plastic’s OK so all I need is the glass. It’s a heated outside
mirror. That leads to my question. Is this a dealer thing that has
the heater built in or is it something any glass shop can do?

Bought this Elantra recently. Believe it has had a good part of the servicing already done.
But I have had problems in other cars in years past with PCV failure (especially Fords) and am anxious to change it.
I have purchased one, but I can’t find where it even might be.
Help??

Recently I had a windshield replaced which was cracked by a stone.
Insurance covered it, but the installer after gluing the inside rear view
mirror mount broke it off and a round slice of glass came off. He replaced
the windshield. But now, I have bumped it and done the same. Does anyone
know of a replacement mirror that can be attached to the hardliner? Other
solutions? I suspect the windshield is not the brightest place to have a
rear view mirror attached. My 1996 Accents is just about to go over 206,000
miles and is starting to show signs of age, but running just fine. I

Its about that time again.
The XG350 comes with p205/60R16 which can be hard to find.
I’ve heard p205/55R16 will fit and only be noticible because the speedometer
will read 3mph slow at 60 mph.
I’m looking for a long life, quiet tire that has good traction on snow and
ice.
Will probably go with a Brigstone Turanza unless someone has a better
suggestion.
Thanks
