i have a 2000 sonata that i bought used.  it currently has 87K miles.  I
bought it at 39K so it only had warranty coverage up to 60K.  Anyway, I’m
told my left rear wheel cylinder is leaking and must be replaced.  All of my
local shops say they have no listings for this part.  The dealer said it
would take as much as a week just to get it.  One of the shops I use said
the part’s not listed because the cylinder on a 2000 should not have gone
yet.

Any thoughts ???

do they make a cargo net for an elantra gls?

2000 Elantra. Temp gauge say’s cars heating up. Happens sporadically.
Air conditioning runs warm  during this period (aprox 5 Min) Engine
cools and AC runs normal.

So far dealer put in 2 new AC parts, water thermostat, relay switches
for fans, and heat sensor switch. Dealer doesn’t know what else could
be causing it. All fluid levels are ok including AC gas.

Any ideas??

Does anyone know what speaker sizes are in the GT? Crutchfield only lists
front, but I don’t trust it too much… Thanks!

Has anyone replaced the pathetic horn on their 2003 Elantra GT?  I almost
got creamed today by some moron who drifted right into my lane.  My horn was
useless.  I want to replace it with something louder.  I don’t want air
horns or anything, just something I can mount in the front where the
original is and will use the same wires but is much louder.  Any
suggestions?  Also, I couldn’t figure out how to unplug the wires from the
existing horn.  I could unclip the plastic thingy (technical term) but no
matter how I pulled it wouldn’t come out.  I could cut the wires, and will
if necessary.

Can anyone tell me the pinout allocation for a Hyundai C310XU AM/FM radio I
have ?
There are 10 pins.

The radio was recovered from a write off but the person removing the radio
didn’t make a note of the allocations for each pin nor did he remove the
socket.

Now I have the radio and don’t know which pin is for what.

Does the 2002 XG350L have a transmission filter? The manual makes it
look like a spin on that is located on top of the transmssion, but
heck if I can find it. I have 20K on my car and would like to change
the fluid and filter. I figure if I buy about 6 or 7 quarts that
should be enough.

What is the best time to buy? For instances, if I want a 2003
Accent, will they be significantly discounted when the 2004′s show
up on the lots?

Is the manual shift coupe good?  I’ve heard it’s hard to shift
smoothly for some reason.  Something about computer "rev hanging".

Also what’s the visibility like?  Is decent if you whip you head
around can you see all you need to?  Can you see out of the back OK w/
the rear view mirror?

How about the new Sonata, how is the visibility there?
